this month I am not posting a formal quote. Instead I am posting in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement because they need the solidarity. They need us—all of us—to stand with them during these horrible days of injustice and say we "see you, we hear you, and we stand with you". They also need us to say "this is enough" loudly, proudly, and without hesitation. This form of injustice stemming from the hands of racist police officers is not new by any means, and as a result it is due time for us to step in. It's late, but it's certainly not too late. And so I am foregoing a writing quote in a feeble attempt to let every non-white person know: I stand with you in solidarity, I am fighting with you, and I am here for you.
