As we're about to enter into the new year, it is with a heavy heart that I wanted to share a transparent update regarding my beloved online store, Celebrate Nature.
As many of you know, balancing creative work, running a business, and managing health is a continuous juggling act. Over the past year, things have quieted down far too much regarding my shop's clientele. Which is understandable. Nearly everyone is struggling financially right now. But with the current lull in orders, keeping my storefront fully active simply isn't sustainable for me right now.
Because of that, I have made the decision to temporarily "pause the shop".
In practical terms, this means Celebrate Nature will remain fully open for business, and you are welcome to place orders directly through the website, but only until April 19, 2026. After which point my current "digital lease" ends and the site will [indefinitely] revert to a showcase catalog for window shopping rather than a direct point of sale.
Unfortunately, maintaining the cost of having a dedicated eCommerce just simply isn't feasible for me right now, especially with the current drop in revenue. Although I am exploring alternative, lower-overhead ways to fulfill requests—such as taking custom orders directly and handling payments and shipping through other avenues. It might be more complicated in the long run, but until I can figure out how to make the website worth it and more specifically make ends meet...well, you get the idea.
Come April 20, the website itself will stay up so you can always browse past collections, and if there is enough sustained interest in the future, I will be more than happy to bring back a full, automated checkout experience. But new orders will not be processed on the site itself.
Now, as I said before, this isn't necessarily goodbye forever, but rather me simply hitting pause for the time being so I can stop bleeding resources while focusing my energy where it's needed most. And again, if a higher demand begins again, I would love nothing more than to bring Celebrate Nature back in full working order 💖🍀
With that said...thank you endlessly to everyone who has ordered, shared, or cheered the shop on so far. For now, you’ll find me right here focusing on my health, writing, editing, and other creative projects 😊🌱
